The MiniFlex 2Mic Model 6 has a cork-lined clamp attachment device that allows mounting across the top/bottom axis of the guitar, usually near the neck heel. The dual mounted microphones are then placed one inside the guitar through the sound hole. and the other externally over the fretboard or near the soundhole, thus picking up sound from the soundhole internally and from the top of the guitar (soundboard) externally.

The Model 6 is powered by a single AAA battery located in the plastic service module which has a volume control switch. The 1/4" output jack on the service module acts as a switch to turn the battery on when a plug is inserted into the jack.
The Model 6 comes with a 1/4" to XLR adapter as well as a cloth storage bag for the 2mic when not in use. Instructions for mounting on flattop, archtop and resonator guitars are included.
The Model 2 is batteries should be changed every 1-2 years depending on use. A significant drop in output volume will indicate that the batteries are low and need to be changed. A high quality PA system will provide the best possible sound quality and feedback control. For most PA systems, use the “line input” with a standard 1/4″ mono guitar cable, or use the 1/4″ – XLR adapter into the PA mic input or snake for improved sound.
